TFW Hurricanes (metabolic sessions) are available to all Surge Fitness members on our standard group fitness timetable. As a TFW affiliate location, Surge Fitness philosophy is to provide the best opportunities for our members to find continuing fitness success through programs with proven results.

The TFW system is based off of years of training research and i s unique because of the holistic approach used during training which offers an all-encompassing curriculum that includes a comprehensive warm-up, training for improved speed, building endurance and flexibility all while being mindful of nutrition. The system is also designed with va riety in mind and a far-ranging syllabus, but never at the expense of producing constant gains for its participants. We focus on total body strength and conditioning to build your mental fortitude and make you stronger inside and outside the gym.

Our members can compliment their program by purchasing Warrior Tracker. This is optional, however it allows our participants to log their workouts, track their progress and join our TFW community. All Warrior Tracker logins come with a TFW t-shirt a nd a TFW wrist band.

Warm Up & Flexibilty

Every TFW training session will begin with a specific warm-up and end with flexibilty training. No exceptions.

Strength Days

Sessions will follow the TFW strength workout of the day and be led by a TFW coach. These sessions will be listed on the group fitness schedule. Additionally we encourage you to follow the strength program along with your PT in semi-private or 1:1 sessions to maximise results.

Hurricane Days - Metabolic

Comprised of Energy Circuits, Tabata training, and actual Hurricane work outs. Each of these training sessions will incorporate an element of speed training. These sessions will be listed on the group fitness timetable.

8 Week Challenge

The Training For Warriors 8 Week Warrior Challenge has been designed to maximize results, create holistic training habits and improve lifestyle choices with a key focus on all aspects of nutrition.

Included with the TFW 8 week challenge is a 30-minute TFW Evaluation to establish your goals along with a physical assessment that tests your mobility, strength and current overall physical condition. The program itself consists of 3 training sessions a week (45 minutes each) in which you will increase lean muscle mass, decrease body fat, and increase your mobility.

Upon signing up for this program, you will receive 8 weeks full Surge Fitness club access, nutritional support, before & after images, fitness workshops, coaches mailing list, Warrior Program Tracker and Warrior 20 Food Guide. The 8 week challenge also includes a TFW T-Shirt and wrist band!
